USB to Serial RS-232 Adapter

A compact USB to Serial (RS-232) adapter to provide a Virtual Com Port for boards that have a DE9 (9-pin) female serial connector, but require a USB connection to a PC.

USB 1.1 and 2.0 compatible
Connects to a computer via a USB A to Mini-B cable (not included)
DE9 male socket to connect to the target board's serial programming and debugging port
FTDI drivers for most Windows PC operating systems are included with Parallax programming environment software
Drivers for different operating systems are available from FTDI chip

A BASIC Stamp is a single-board computer that runs the Parallax PBASIC language interpreter in its microcontroller. The developer's code is stored in an EEPROM, which can also be used for data storage. The PBASIC language has easy-to-use commands for basic I/O, like turning devices on or off, interfacing with sensors, etc. More advanced commands let the BASIC Stamp module interface with other integrated circuits, communicate with each other, and operate in networks.
