Kestrel Pocket Weather Tracker

The Kestrel impeller is a pocket weather meter which provides current data, tracks environmental changes and predicts the weather. Users include scientists, athletes/sports trainers, firefighters, automotive technicians, agricultural specialists, gardeners and weather enthusiasts. The Kestrel 5000 offers new advantages in data storage, graphing functions and computer interface technology. It can store up to 10,000 points of weather data. It enables users to track weather changes and view changes as graphs on the Kestrel 5000 display. Choice of the model is between the basic 0850BLK (913-9992) and Link version 0850LBLK (913-9996). Bluetooth Link technology enables 0850LBLK users to communicate with the Kestrel at a range of up to 100ft (30.5m) with Android or iPhone and to maximise meter battery life. Both the Kestrel 5000 models have a white backlight for even daytime use and a night-vision preserving backlight. The red night vision (NV) backlight incorporates an optical filter to reduce brightness and minimise blue and green spectrum light. It measures airflow, altitude, density, density altitude, dew point, evaporation rate, heat index, moisture content, pressure, relative air density, tailwind, wet bulb temperature, wind chill, etc.
Note:
Bluetooth version 0850LBLK includes custom communication software designed to quickly and easily configure data transmission frequency, download logged data, graph data and transfer data to other applications.
