The Broadcom optically isolated gate drive devices are optimised for driving IGBT and Power MOSFET transistors. The highly integrated smart gate drive optocouplers provide integrated protection features; Active Miller Clamp, under voltage lockout, fault and UVLO status feedback and desaturation detection. Beside the protection features, Broadcom have also an integrated DC-DC controller for floating power supply.The isolated gate driver optocouplers are ideal for use in motor control and power conversion applications. This solution isolates and protects logic signals from high voltages.
