The 3M D7900 series D7915, is a Particulate Filter designed specifically for particulates that combines the utmost protection with comfort. They are approved for environments containing certain solid and liquid particles. Used in pairs, they offer low breathing resistance with a streamlined design to minimise the feeling of weight and therefore improve comfort. They re used with 3M™ Secure Click™ gas and vapour filters that can be clicked into place quickly and easily and they can be used with 3M™ Secure Click™ Reusable Respirator.Use our filters with 3M™ Secure Click™ Respirators 800 Series, 3M™ Secure Click™ Cartridges D8000 Series and 3M™ Filter Retainer D701.

What is the difference between a FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 level of protection?
As part of the EN 149:2001 standard it has designated into three ratings. FFP3 offers the highest protection compared to FFP2 and FFP1.FFP1This protects against low levels of dust, as well as solid and liquid aerosols. They filter at least 80% of the particles, with a maximum leakage amount of 25%. Used within the construction or food processing industry.FFP2This protects against moderate levels of dust, as well as solid and liquid aerosols. They provide higher protection than the FFP1. They filter at least 94% of the particles, with a maximum leakage amount of 11%. Used within the metal, medical and mining also the construction industry for plastering and sanding tasks.FFP3This protects against high levels of dust, as well as solid and liquid aerosols. They provide higher protection than the FFP1. They filter at least 99% of the particles, with a maximum leakage amount of 5%. Used within the medical and chemistry industry.
