Tapered and Parallel Dowel Pin Kits

These RS PRO kits contain dowel pins which are small and cylindrical and are a type of industrial fastener which can join two or more items together.
Options available include the following sizes:
279-515 - 275 piece metric parallel dowel pin kit
279-509 - 345 piece metric taper dowel pin kit
279-521 – 350 piece imperial parallel dowel pin kit

Typical Applications:

Dowel pins can be used in various applications such as tool rooms for pivots, spindles and locating pins. They are also popular in automotive industries and furniture construction. These steel pins can be inserted into holes to hold the parts of an assembly together by using friction. Dowel pins can hold two or more parts together in a fixed alignment using a very tight fit to keep them firmly in place.
