Safeguard production lines and maximise uptime by protecting your machines and personnel with the Ferrogard 440N-G02023 magnetic safety switch, 250 V ac, with plastic housing, by Allen Bradley Guardmaster.

This type of reliable non-contact switch uses a magnet to detect when a guard or gate is released. The power supply will then be cut off instantly, ensuring that personnel cannot access a hazardous area while the power supply to a machine is still running. It is designed so that the magnetic actuator is removed from the switch when the guard door is opened, which opens the NC safety contacts.

The large sensing field of the 440N series ensures tolerance to door misalignment, so that if the guard comes loose or is not closed properly this can be identified immediately. The set up and alignment process for 400N series safety switches is conveniently simplified to decrease your installation costs. This switch is also sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P), making it dust tight and well suited to endure wet environments. To ensure that it does not fail it has protected safety contacts and internal non-resettable overload protection on the safety contact.
