Need a way to securely lock guards or gates during dangerous operations? Use this solenoid interlock switch from Siemens. It has a separate actuator and additional magnetic tumbler so that protective doors don't open during hazardous processes. A safety mechanism also prevents unwanted guard or door closures by keeping the NC (normally closed) magnet contacts open even when a guard or door is open. You can deactivate the switch manually using the auxiliary release mechanism if needed – for example. during power failures or installation.
