Standard & Low Fire Hazard Conduit
Two types of flexible liquid resistant conduits from Adaptaflex, the standard version is a helically wound galvanised steel strip with a black PVC cover whilst the LFH (Low Fire Hazard) type is Polyolefin covered which has halogen free, flame retardant & low toxicity properties which complement Fire Performance cables where public safety is of concern e.g. Hospitals, Shopping centres, Underground Railways etc.
IP54 or IP65 (dependant on Fitting)
-15°C to +70°C operating temperature, -25°C to +90°C (LFH type)
Non Flame propagating to EN50086
UV resistant
Compression strength 1500N/50mm
Halogen Free (LFH type only)
Low Smoke and Fume (LFH type only)
Note
The conduit is measured under tension and may be subject to variations in length when relaxed.
Adaptaflex PVC Coated Flexible Steel Conduit, 34mm OD, 10m Length - SP Series - 7TCA296020R0222 SP32/BL/10M
Keep your electrical cables tidy and protected with this cable conduit from Adaptaflex. It's suitable for running underground, through walls and over exposed areas. The conduit features a robust steel core that withstands impact and crushing forces, so is suitable for demanding environments. For resistance to rust and longevity in moist conditions, the core is galvanised. The outer PVC coating withstands weathering and is non-conductive to ensure safety during installation and the handling of electrical wires.
Features & Benefits
• Flexible for easier placement in constricted areas
• Wide installation temperature range of -15°C to +70°C, so compatible with industrial environments
• Low flammability to reduce the risk of an electrical fire
• Creates a dust-tight enclosure for protection against environmental elements
Applications
• Commercial and residential buildings
• Industrial electrical systems
• Food and beverage industry
Can I use this cable conduit in marine applications?
Yes, the PVC coating on this cable conduit resists chemicals as well as sea water.
What's the difference between a cable conduit and cable trunking?
You'll find cable conduits used to protect or hide from view smaller cable bundles or individual wires running between two terminals. Trunking is chosen for more complex installations where thicker wiring bundles are routed.
