The jaws are made from chrome vanadium steel that's strong enough to slice through tough materials such as piano wire. The heavy-duty injection moulded handles in black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) feature finger stops to keep your hands away from the cutting edges. They provide a comfortable grip and precision control for an accurate cut.
The cutters meet the requirements of US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning that they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge.
