With 10 refillable compartments the STD is not only compact but also portable, able to hold 8ft rolls it features an end loop hook for tool pouches or belts. Providing fast, convenient and easy to cut dispensing with little waste, an ideal solution to electrical and automotive label needs.

Already filled with 10 rolls of standard numbered tape, marked 0-9 in black on white, the tape is non-smear polyester. For marking binder groups, cable or wire, designed to be 'high tack' acrylic. The tape is resistant to solvents, oils and water adhering firmly to insulation surfaces. Smooth surfaced tape allows you to easily wipe off dirt and grime, and is durable for industrial electrical application.

How do you use cable markers?

How you use a cable marker can vary, as their method of application can differ. Adhesive and self-laminating are generally used for terminated wires, they wrap around the wire with a clear protective layer. Clip and slide on labelling are generally colour coded or pre-printed with letters, numbers and symbols. The single characters can also be combined to create a legend. Some are straight, some are chevron shaped. Whilst slide on markers need to be applied pre-termination, clip-on can be applied after termination. Heat shrink, shrunk to fit the cable are flexible, durable and do not fall off. Tie on tags or markers can generally be used on larger bundles.
