The Altivar Machine ATV320 variable speed drives are simple, yet enhanced machines. The Altivar 12 does not need any preventative maintenance, although we do advise that you perform a few regular checks to ensure optimum delivery.
• The condition and tightness of any of the connections.
• Make sure that the temperature around the unit remains at an acceptable level and that ventilation is effective. The average service life of the fans is an impressive ten years.
• Make sure that if any dust is apparent, it is removed.
• Keep a look out that the fans are always in proper operation and that there is no physical damage to the covers.
