Eaton's rack-mounted tower UPS (uninterruptible power supply) gives you extra backup time during power outages until shut-down software can start or generators kick in. It's rated at 3000 VA (volt-ampere) and gives you four minutes' backup time at 2500 W. This product features double-conversation technology to constantly monitor power conditions and regulates voltage and frequency accordingly. It supports remote communication and monitoring via a mini terminal block and USB (universal serial bus) connections.

What's deep discharge protection?

When a battery is discharged too far it becomes damaged and an irreversible loss of capacity occurs. Deep discharging can also cause premature failure of the battery. Deep discharge protection protects the batteries by disabling the output before this happens.
