Pushing and pulling equipment is a walk in the park with this double-acting pneumatic cylinder from Festo. Its 16mm bore and 30mm stroke comfortably control up to 10 bar of pressure to position, clamp and eject components with ease. The elastomer buffers on either end absorb up to 0.15J of impact energy to prevent the piston from suffering or causing damage. You can install the unit with a foot mounting (121-4365) or clevis foot (121-5632) in any position needed to suit your setup.

Can I add a proximity sensor to this device?

Yes, you can improve control over the piston's location by adding an SMT (121-5836) or SDBT-series proximity sensor (253-9245). To attach it, simply use the SMBR-series mounting kit (121-5566).
