RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Square Bar, 20 mm x 20 mm x 1 m

This square aluminium bar from the RS PRO series is strong enough to bear heavy weights. The 6082-T6 metal rod is popularly used in high-stress conditions in the construction and manufacturing industries.

The solid square bar is 1 metre long with sides of 20 mm. With a tensile strength of 310 MPa, it can resist a large amount of stress before it will bend, warp or break. The high-quality aluminium alloy construction means it offers excellent resistance to corrosion as well and can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications. This makes it particularly suitable when building bridges, trusses or cranes.

As part of the RS PRO series, it's thoroughly tested for quality and consistency. This bar is often used in transport applications as it has a high thermal conductivity rating of 180 W/mK.
