Evaluation Board for HMC425A 6-Bit 8GHz Attenuator
The EV1HMC425ALP3E evaluation board from Analog Devices is designed assessment of the HMC425A 6-bit 8GHz attenuator IC. This digitally controlled broadband attenuator is suitable for operation at 2.2 to 8.0 GHz and features a typical insertion loss of 4 dB at 6 GHz. The device utilises GaAs MMIC technology and is housed in a tiny leadless SMT package. The evaluation PCB includes two SMA RF connectors, and eight pins for supply and attenuator control line connections.
• Up to 31.5dB attenuation in 0.5dB steps
• Attenuator control via single line per bit
• Single +5V supply; Positive control logic
