How to maintain a chain saw filing tool

It is common that after time dirt and debris may build up in the teeth of the file which will reduce the cutting quality of the file and reduce its effectiveness. In order to prevent this a filing card or wire brush should be used after use to clear away any potential build-up of debris on the file.
