This British Standard fuse from Eaton offers protection for components such as power inverters and convertors in your electrical circuit. What's different about a semiconductor fuse?

Semiconductor fuses, also known as aR type fuses, are very fast-acting with low melting integral values and peak let-through currents. They offer short-circuit protection only and must not be used as a replacement for a gR class fuse, which also handles overloads.
