Used to transform input voltage into output voltage, the RS PRO 504 W, 24 V switch-mode power supply (SMPS) comes standard with built-in power factor correction. This allows power between the electrical source and the circuit to be consumed efficiently.

The embedded unit has a universal, full-range AC input and has been given the RS PRO seal of approval, guaranteeing high productivity, excellent reliability and long working life. It has an efficiency rating of 90% and is a good choice for charging portable electronics, such as laptops, as it helps to extend the device’s battery life.

Other devices that commonly use high-efficiency SMPS include mobile phone chargers and gaming computers, which operate at full capacity for extended periods of time. This component is also available with an output of 48 V. All RS PRO SMPSs are backed by a three-year warranty and are CE (Conformité Européenne) approved.
