Kemet Capacitor
The Kemet A72 series 47pF capacitor is constructed of polypropylene film and metal foil or metallized film and metal foil with axial leads of tinned wire. Its voltage ranges between 400VAC and 1000VDC. The axial leads are electrically welded to the metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. The capacitor is encapsulated in a polyester tape wrapping case with thermosetting resin material. Two different winding constructions are used, depending on voltage parameters.
