The Weller CT5 D8 soldering tip has the Magnastat system which changes its characteristics when a specific temperature is reached. Various pre-selected tip temperatures are available to permit different types of soldering to be undertaken. Working temperature selection is achieved by simply changing the temperature sensing of the soldering tip.
