This RS PRO crimp bootlace ferrule is a metal tube with a black insulating collar. Use it to secure a tight connection over a stranded wire and to protect the wire from wear and damage. It will also reduce the risk of interference or damage to the connection.
Install the ferrule on a wire of 1.5 mm or less and the nylon collar will keep it in place and protected, so it lasts for longer.
