This crimp bootlace ferrule by RS PRO will help you to insulate your stranded wires. Its metal tube and black insulating collar compress the wire to secure a tight connection and to protect the wire itself from wear. The copper tube terminal inside the unit ensures the connection remains reliable over time.
The lightweight nylon collar crimps onto a wire up to 1.5 mm in size and stops power from escaping out of gaps, which will increase the efficiency of your appliance. The nylon material is also tough enough to withstand any abrasion or buildups of heat that may occur outside the wire.
