RS PRO DVI-D to DVI-D Cable, Male to Male, 5m, Кабель

The RS PRO 5 metre male to male DVI-D single link cable which has a black PVC jack and an outer diameter of 6mm. The connectors have a gold flash covering to prevent corrosion. There are three different types of DVI cables which all share a common connector, DVI-A(analogue), DVI-D(digital) and DVI-I(integrated). DVI-A only carries an analogue signal so this normally comes with a VGA connector on one end. DVI-D is a digital only connection and can not be used with a VGA monitor unless it is actively converted to an analogue signal. DVI-I can carry either digital or analogue signal, the graphics cards controls the signal type. DVI-D and DVI-I are also split into two types of cable, dual link and single link. Dual link has all the pins connected to achieve higher resolutions where as single link may have the physical pins present but some will not be connected inside the cable.
