This RS PRO screwed drill set includes 10 cutters with diameters between 4 mm and 20 mm. The pieces in this set include two-flute drills with screwed shanks.
The drills are centre-cutting, which means you can use them for plunge milling. They are made from M35 High-Speed Steel (HSS) containing 5% cobalt to guarantee resistance to abrasion and impact.This allows you to work with the majority of metals. This type of steel is also resistant to heat and can withstand temperatures of up to +600°C, which ensures you can safely use the drills for prolonged operations.
The drills have diameter tolerance conforming to British Standards (BS 122-4) for screwed shank end mills and slot drills. You'll generally see milling or slot drills like these used in construction, carpentry and engineering.
