This USB-C™ to DisplayPort adapter enables you to output DP video and audio from the USB Type-C™ port on your laptop or other device. What is USB-C?

USB-C is a one of the latest advancements in USB connectivity. This USB connector type can carry video and data. This single connector supports multiple protocols and can carry everything from USB 1.1 to USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, as well as DisplayPort and HDMI (via Alt modes) and Thunderbolt 3 (on Thunderbolt 3 equipped laptops). This type can support the following:
Data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, if you use USB 3.1.
Bi-directional power delivery up to 100W, if both the USB host connection and the device support it.
