What's great about StarTech’s cable range is that they have a multitude of options to suit your networking needs. This cable is 2 metres long, allowing you to connect applications like an RJ45 wall jack to a network hub in your office. StarTech realise the importance of colour too and have provided an excellent selection to choose from. This ethernet cable is purple, which means you can configure and organise your network easily by colour coding.

Prevent the chances of decreased performance through breakages by customising the style to fit your requirements. Choose either a snagless or moulded ethernet cable, whether you want to conceal the connector or protect it. Snagless types minimise the risk of breaking the RJ45 clips during the installing process, while a moulded boot offers strain relief if the cable is bent at an acute angle.

This cat6 features 24 AWG sized copper wires, which allow less resistance when carrying signals. It also produces less heat than other sizes and these two characteristics combined make it a perfect match for its 2m length. Using high-quality 100% copper conductors in this cat6 cable not only mean that it's excellent value for investment, but it also specifically helps to reduce near end cross talk noise (NEXT), which boosts reliability in transferring data. This patch cable supports power over ethernet (PoE), meaning you can provide up to 100W of power to devices like VOIP phone & security systems, and 4k or 1080p video streaming.

Even better is that StarTech use 50-micron thick gold connectors to support the longevity of the cable. By using the thickest gold plating available, the network cable maintains a fast and reliable connection over a longer period of time, withstanding up to x4 as much throughput as a standard metal connector.
