RS PRO 20 μF Polypropylene Capacitor PP 440 V AC ±10% Tolerance Screw Mount

This RS PRO polypropylene capacitor is designed for use with AC power. As it provides power to a motor, it's a good choice for applications such as pumps in domestic appliances, induction heaters and AC capacitors for electrical distribution.


The capacitor has a self-extinguishing plastic case that reduces the risk of fire in your home or office. It's also self-correcting, meaning it can clear a fault area where a breakdown occurs for added safety.


The product contains only trace amounts of potentially harmful chemicals as it conforms to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards. It has also been tested for electrostatic discharge (ESD) and meets the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards, minimising hazards from discharge.
