Hikvision DS-K5604A-3XF/V model temperature screening thermographic cameras are face recognition thermal imaging terminal/cameras. This range and series of thermal imaging cameras, with a temperature range of 30°C to 45°C, measuring an individual’s skin temperature within the thermal imaging camera range of 0.3 m to 2 m. This identifies not only the face but also a high skin temperature or EST (elevated skin temperature), which can be a sign someone is ill. Any abnormal and elevated readings can be uploaded to a main operation centre.

The thermal imaging camera is not a clinical diagnostic device. The camera will record people with a raised body temperature, further medical tests would have to be performed to confirm their status. The thermographic camera if used with other medical equipment can assist in detecting and preventing the spread on an infection or disease.

With higher accuracy than many other models the DS-K5604A-3XF/V face recognition temperature screening thermal imaging camera detects the face and reads the temperature not requiring identity authentication. If the face recognized by the Thermal imaging camera does not wear a protective face mask the system will automatically detect this and will automatically send an audible voice face mask wearing message.
