This soft-start and quick-exhaust valve from Festo is designed to build pressure gradually and reduce pressure quickly and safely in pneumatic piping systems. It slows down airflow to stop cylinders from spinning too fast at start-up, preventing internal and external damage to your machines. It also helps prevent unexpected pressurisation, ensuring a long service life for your systems.
The quick-exhaust function of the valve discharges air on the return stroke quickly, so you can improve production times at your factory. The valve is housed in a sturdy die-cast aluminium casing and uses soft-sealing NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber), so you can be confident of reliable and long-lasting performance.
