The Rittal KX metal gland plate is simply to knock out the holes for the cable glands using a screwdriver. It is made of sheet steel. The cable entry for a gland plate is Number x metric diameter which in this case is 12 x M20. The allocation of gland plate sizes is indicated on the relevant enclosures which should be noted.
