To precisely handle materials, use this clamping actuator from Festo. It works in any position, making it suitable for robotic arms. For versatility, a double-acting mechanism means you can control linear movements both forwards and backwards or up and down. With a clamping force between 271 and 716N, the unit dependably holds its position. It also features a swivel motion for turning rotating arms and similar devices 90° to the right. The actuator's position is detectable with a proximity sensor to give you maximum control.
