How is this spherical bearing different from a regular rolling ball bearing?

Unlike typical ball bearings that feature a series of balls along a race, this spherical bearing has no such rolling element. Instead, the inner ring is installed in an angled position for comprehensive rotation inside the housing. It can accommodate large shaft misalignment while regular bearings are only capable of allowing minute misalignments or overturns.
