RS PRO 50Ω SMA Connector- Edge Mount

RS PRO has increased the range of SMA coaxial connectors. This female sub-miniature radio frequency (RF) connector has gold plated body/contact, designed to interface with coaxial cable assemblies SMA plugs and provides high-frequency performance at high power ratings in small diameters.

Where would you find them?

SMA edge mount connectors are one of many RF connector types found in the equipment such as transmitters, used in conjunction with coaxial cable to carry high-frequency electrical signals with low losses. Common applications are printed circuit boards where they are edge mounted and secured by solder for a sturdy connection.

How to Identify Male and Female SMA

Male gender SMA connectors have outward pins and threaded connections inside, whereas a female gender SMA has inward pins and threaded connection outside.
