Need a thermocouple wire for a temperature sensor in an extreme environment? This Type K extension cable from the RS PRO range will operate up to temperatures of +250˚C without melting and down to -75˚C without cracking. Sheathed in ultra-durable PTFE which offers excellent resistance to oils, acids and fuels, it's suitable for use in steam and pressure applications, autoclaves and sterilisers.

Each of the seven-stranded conductors has a cross-sectional area of 0.2 mm. You can rest assured that this cable is certified as safe, as it conforms to the IEC-584-3 standard for a tolerance class I cable. It's available in lengths of 25 m.

As it's been strenuously tested, you'll find this product won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). It's also compliant with RoHS on levels of hazardous substances, so doesn't contain harmful amounts of materials like mercury or lead.
