The caliper also has a high-resolution Vernier scale with 14-degree face angle which allows easier reading and helps prevent parallax error in the measurement. Functions include origin set, zero setting, data hold, data output, function lock, 2 presets and inch/mm conversion. ABS linear scale eliminates the need for setting the origin point every time the micrometer is powered on, over speed errors are also eliminated.
