H-BE Hood and Cable Gland

From Contact Connectors, these hoods are for use with Contact Epic H-BE connector inserts. The hoods have integrated pips to connect securely to corresponding connector housing levers, ensuring optimum compatibility for your application. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.

H-BE / H-DD Hoods & Housings

HBE connectors are type tested to 16A, 440Vac, and are available complete in kit form and as individual parts.

Metric versions also available
High construction versions allow the use of bulky multicore cable and are ideally suited for use with the high density H-DD inserts

These hoods and housings will accept either plug or socket inserts from the H-BE 440Vac 16A screw termination inserts, or the H-DD 250Vac 10A high density crimp termination inserts.
The cable glands seal to IP65. Panel mount bases include a rubber gasket for sealing.
All this allows for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications.
