Applications:

Square nuts, or blind nuts, as the name suggests, is a square-shaped nut that is used for a wide range of applications, thanks to their versatility. They are designed to cover a larger surface area because of the 4-sided design, which means that they can press against a larger surface area, in turn preventing them from loosening. The main benefits of a square nut compared to more traditional nuts are that they are easy to tighten, they are perfect for blind and tight locations where space might be limited, and they can be easy and quick to gauge if the bolt has loosened itself.
