The 440G-S36005 Power-to-Release safety switch has a supply voltage rating of 230VAC/DC and M20 conduit entry. It features a high holding force of 770N (173 lbs) for greater stability. It has 2NC Safety Contacts and 1NO Auxiliary Contact. The housing material is made of UL approved resilient glass-filled polyester, and it has a thermal current of 10A and an operating temperature of -20°C to 60°C.

This Spartan guard locking device is a positive mode, tongue operated switch that isolates power to machinery when the guard is released and keeps safety guards firmly locked in place while a machine is running. The mechanism can only be released when a signal is applied to the internal solenoid, allowing the tongue to be removed from the switch. This cost-effective safety interlock switch offers a higher level of protection for personnel as it restricts access to unsafe areas where machinery is in motion and can cause injury. It also helps prevent damage to machinery from premature interference. It is well suited for use with machines which do not instantly stop.

A solenoid interlock switch is a type of safety switch with an internal solenoid; a wire coil which converts electrical energy to mechanical.
