More robust than standard infrared switches and suitable for high traffic, easy to fit and install, excellent for use indoors both in humid and inhospitable environments plus are a hygienic solution as there is no physical touching or pressing of the switch. What is a Piezo Switch?

Piezo switches are also known as Piezoelectric switches. The switches are an electronic switch that uses the piezoelectric effect converting mechanical energy into an electrical signal. The switch does not use mechanical components like springs or buttons to activate or deactivate electrical circuits.
