A reliable and hardwearing Type K ANSI thermocouple designed for the accurate temperature monitoring of brake pads. Comprising of a with a Glassfibre insulated Stainless Steel braided cable with a measuring tip sealed in Fortafix high temperature Ceramic paste for a secure hold.
Designed to be embedded directly into pads being measured providing a fast response time and accurate measurements up to temperatures up to 400°C.
Built for accuracy the Type K brake pad thermocouple features a grounded junction increasing measurement accuracy and stability and the Glassfibre Stainless Steel braided cable protects against wearing and mechanical stresses, and features excellent heat and thermal resistance.
