The Infineon Isolated Industrial Interface is a galvanic isolated 8 channel high side switch. This switch offers integrated 2.5kV galvanic isolation, thus meets the IEC 61131 2 requirements for reinforced isolation. Concurrently, the switch sets a new standard for system level diagnostics. There is a 5 different types of diagnostic feedback for each 8 channel. This galvanically isolated 8 bit data interface provides 8 fully protected high side power switches that are able to handle currents up to 730 mA per channel.
