The Schneider Electric Modicon Momentum Ethernet communication adaptor has 10/100 Mbit/s transmission rate. The maximum cable distance between devices is 1000 m without repeater.

The Schneider Electric Interbus Communication Adaptor is designed for twisted pair communication, employing a ring topology. This adaptor supports a range of 0 to 254 devices per segment, with a maximum cable distance between devices of 12,800 meters and 400 meters between two modules. In case of a failure, it operates in a fail safe mode. The control parameter is maintained using CRC 16. The adaptor is powered from the IO base and is marked with a CE designation. Local signalling is facilitated through three LEDs one green LED for bus enable, one for remote bus check and another for remote bus disabled.
