The Eaton Bussmann HTC Series of PCB mount fuse holder offers current ratings and voltage ratings of 6.3 Amp and 250 Volts respectively. These vertical or horizontal surface mount fuse holders provide the installation hardware for a fuse and prevents accidental misuse in a circuit. It includes 5mm x 20mm cartridge type fuse carrier and knobs are spring loaded bayonet type with screwdriver slot. The body of this holder is made of high temperature thermoplastic material and tin plated brass is used for contact.

Use this PCB (printed circuit board) mount fuse holder from Eaton in your circuits to install, contain and protect your fuses. This reliable and effective holder accommodates standard 5 x 20mm cartridge fuses and offers current and voltage ratings of 6.3A and 250V respectively. You can choose to mount this fuse holder either horizontally or vertically to prevent the accidental misuse of a circuit. Why do fuse holders melt?

Electrical circuits heat up because current flows through resistance to deliver power. If the resistance in the contact between the fuse and the fuse holder is too high, or the current is well below the fuse rating, the fuse holder will melt. That's why it's important to select the correct fuse for your fuse holder and ensure your holder's body material is heat-resistant.
