Allen Bradley Guardmaster - Atlas 5, Heavy Duty Safety Switches
The Atlas 5 Range of guard locking switches by Allen Bradley Guardmaster features an optional flexible actuator which reduces minimum operating radius, convenient lid mounted status indication, and 2 possible actuator entry positions - front and end entry. Atlas 5 switches are supplied with a dedicated Atlas actuator. Atlas 5 switches have the power to release 3 sets of contacts: 2N/C 1N/O, which make them ideal for PLC machines.
Standards: EN1088, EN 292, EN 60204-01 & EN60947-5-1
Allen Bradley Guardmaster Safety Interlock Switch
The Allen Bradley Guardmaster atlas 5 positive mode, tongue operated safety interlock switch has a supply voltage rating of 24VAC/DC. It has 2NC/1NO contacts. This interlock switch has a machine guard closed until power is isolated to ensure that it remains that way when the guard is open. It is a heavy-duty switch and locking mechanism is designed to withstand forces up to 5000N (1124lbs). A unique feature of this switch is a patented self-aligning head that tolerates actuator or guard misalignment, making it particularly useful for heavy machine guards. It is designed for machines that do not stop immediately or where premature interruption of the machine could cause damage to tooling and components or cause an additional hazard.
