The single-fuse component features a filter to absorb noise from either the device it’s connected to or from surrounding electrical equipment. Its interference reduction capabilities make it a useful preventive tool, helping protect electrical devices from malfunction. The unit can operate at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +85°C and has a leakage current of 0.35 mA (milliamperes).

IEC filters are widely used in power and electronic industries, as well as with medical and fitness equipment such as heart monitors.
