Simply fit the device to any machine door or guard and it will automatically cut operating power if the door is opened when the machine is in motion. A sensing distance of 5mm is sensitive enough to maintain workplace safety while allowing for a degree of misalignment to prevent false alarms. For an extra level of safety, this switch pairs a magnetically actuated reed contact with a coded actuator so it can't be deactivated with a simple magnet.
