What are blanking plugs used for?
A blanking plug, or hole plug, is a component used to cover the wiring outlets, access holes in production, or for blocking off unnecessary holes in a wall or panel, essentially plugging or "blanking" the fitting. This blanking plug is more specifically designed to fit a pushbutton unit when no function is needed for the machine to operate. These plug fittings can often be found in industrial appliance sockets and pushbutton panels.
