When pressed together, the stems form a strong interlocked attachment that you can open and close repeatedly. This makes it suitable for dynamic uses such as securing frequently used tools.

What is this hook and loop tape made from?

The adhesive part is acrylic, which offers long-term durability. The stems and backing are made from clear polypropylene, so they're resistant to breaking.

How is hook and loop attached to a product?

There are a number of ways to attach hook and loop to a product. Having a fabric backed hook and loop, it can be sewn into textiles and fabrics. It can be glued to a surface using pressure sensitive adhesives or even applied using a heat activated adhesive.
