Choose this British Standard fuse from the RS PRO range for an easy-to-fit unit that will guard your circuits against shorting because of high currents. You can secure it easily and mount it into your fuse holder as it has integral bolts.

This fuse has a current rating of 20 A and a voltage rating of 550 V AC. The size is 2A. It will self-rupture so can stand up to the high pressure developed during short-circuiting. With a gG rating (general purpose), it's efficient, taking between two to five seconds at five times the rated current to blow, and between 0.1 to 0.2 seconds at ten times the rated current.

Engineers have stringently tested this British standard fuse to ensure durability and consistency. BS 88 and IEC 60269 compliant, it meets the specifications for British standard fuses and can be used in all kinds of domestic appliances.
