When the safety guard is opened and the magnetic actuator is released from the switch the NC safety contacts will open, resulting in the immediate isolation of supply power to the machine.

This device has high tolerance to door misalignment, non-contact reliability and robust stainless-steel housing to protect against unintended impacts. The FRS 14 sensors and actuators have slim housings, making this safety switch perfect for narrow mounting areas. These Ferrogard switches have greater flexibility of mounting options as they have two active sensing faces. Unlike other magnetic switches, they have protected safety contacts so that they do not fail in case of danger. They also have internal non-resettable overload protection on the safety contact. Contacts are fully sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P), making this non-contact switch durable against frequently wet environments.
